Once Human - A weird game indeed, but very cool so far!
So I was in Thor's chat and he was talking about a game, and he mentioned it had "The Division elements" and how he "loved the Division2 " This piqued my interest, and the game he was talking about was called "Once Human"
I have played a little bit of it an here are some words to sum it up!
Post-apocalyptic | Survival | Open-world | Building | Combat | Monsters | Mysterious
The story is pretty compelling so far and the first battle, albeit a little glitchy, felt special. Really cool stuff.
It does kinda feel like there are elements of Division in it in places. Combat is similar, down to shoulder swapping, and gun control. It has the usual loot rarity scheme (Green, Blue, Purple, Gold) and loot drop after killing enemies is reminiscent of other RPG games.
The crafting is refreshingly user friendly. You craft a axe and it's in your inventory. When you walk up to a tree, all you have to do is hit "F" and it will know to use the axe, regardless of what is in your hand at the time. Very neat.
The skill tree looks pretty comprehensive, and has some interesting choices.
Bad new is it's not scheduled for release until Q3 2024, good news is, there is an open beta right now!
Anyways, I need to play more and will update with more later.
I am really exited for this game and can't wait until it comes out!
